Dr. Stan Dyda Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Stan was born at Lackland AFB near San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Stan's full name is Stanislaus, which is a Polish name given to him by his father which was mercifully shortened to Stan while growing up. Dr. Stan lived all over the United States throughout his childhood including: Texas, Indiana, Washington DC, Illinois, Nebraska, and Michigan. He graduated from Haslett High School in Haslett, Michigan.
After graduating high school, Dr. Stan attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2003. While in college, Dr. Stan had a missing permanent front tooth replaced. This experience, as well as the engineering classes he took in school, helped him decide on a career in dentistry. Dr. Stan went to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and received his dental degree in 2008. During dental school, Dr. Stan rotated to community health clinics across the state of Michigan which inspired him to work in public health. As a result, Dr. Stan worked in the Indian Health Service in rural Arizona and Minnesota for nearly seven years.
During his time as a general dentist, Dr. Stan decided to return to school to become a pediatric dentist. He completed his pediatric dental residency at the University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health in June of 2017 and is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. During his free time, Dr. Stan enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, trivia, and canoeing.
