At Prairie Rose, the heartbeat of our practice comes from the people who go above and beyond—not just in what they do, but in how they care. Every quarter, we recognize one incredible team member from each office location as the Heart of the Practice—someone who brings energy, kindness, and a whole lot of heart to their work every day.
This quarter, we’re thrilled to celebrate Jackie Golberg, our North office winner, whose warmth and positivity greet everyone who walks through our doors.
Meet Jackie
If you’ve ever visited our Prairie Rose North office, chances are Jackie’s smiling face is one of the first you see. As a Patient Coordinator, she’s the welcoming presence who checks you in, answers your calls, and helps make your experience feel smooth and personal. But for Jackie, it’s more than a job—it’s a calling.
“I always try to greet each patient with a smile,” she said. “I’ve been taught that a smile can turn the crabbiest patient into a happy one.” That philosophy is at the heart of everything Jackie does—and it shows.
With 3.5 years at Prairie Rose under her belt, Jackie brings a strong sense of joy, gratitude, and commitment to her role. She loves connecting with patients of all ages, from little ones visiting our pediatric dentists for the first time, to elderly patients who brighten her day in return.
Beyond the Front Desk
Jackie’s day is never dull. From updating patient information and answering phones to handling insurance paperwork and helping wherever she’s needed, she keeps things running smoothly with a cheerful attitude. If Jackie was an emoji? Definitely a big smiling face—because she’s always smiling, and it’s contagious.
While she’s the queen of the check-in desk, Jackie told us if she could trade jobs for a day, she’d love to be one of the pediatric hygienists. “I love children and think it would be such a cool experience!”
And while you might know her as the cheerful voice on the phone or the smiling face at the desk, here’s something you and Jackie's co-workers might not know: Jackie was adopted at just seven days old. Adoption is a huge part of her family’s story—her brother is also adopted, and her sister has adopted three children. Jackie’s been able to connect with her birth mom and one of her half-sisters, which has brought a beautiful, full-circle connection to her life story. Her openness and deep appreciation for family shine through in everything she does.
Family, Faith, and a Little Bit of Caramel
Jackie lives in Bismarck with her husband Gerald—celebrating 25 years of marriage this July! She’s the proud mom of four: a daughter (22), twin boys (19), and a youngest son (14), who’s currently an 8th grader. Two of her children serve in the National Guard—in the same unit—and her daughter is getting married this June. (Yes, she’s having a blast helping plan the wedding!)
Outside of work, Jackie’s favorite moments are spent with her family—whether cheering at sports events or making memories on their annual family trips. She’s also a big fan of coffee (with caramel, please!), Coke Zero, and catching up with her mom every day after work.
When asked what keeps her motivated, Jackie doesn’t hesitate: “My faith is everything. God has blessed me in so many ways. And my family—they’re my why.”
A True Team Player
Jackie’s passion for her work shines through in every interaction. She’s proud to be part of the Prairie Rose team and speaks with genuine love and pride about the doctors and coworkers she works alongside each day. “Even on the busiest, craziest days, people can tell I love my job,” she said.
In true Jackie fashion, she took advantage of the spotlight being shone on her, to give a special shoutout to her teammate Katrina Miller, recognizing her for always going above and beyond to fill the schedule and support the team. “She’s always willing to help and handle tough situations with patients—she’s amazing.”
Thank You, Jackie
We’re beyond lucky to have someone like Jackie on our team. Her compassion, cheerfulness, and unwavering positivity make a lasting impression on patients and coworkers alike. She truly embodies what it means to be the Heart of the Practice.
Jackie, thank you for being a source of light and love at Prairie Rose. You make our North office feel like home—and we are so grateful for you!
